Sunny French Electro pop

In keeping with the French themed inspiration behind 2012′s Spring Summer collection, we decided to show case a selection, of our favourite french musical artists both new and old.

First up is 80′s inspired electro pop trio ‘Yelle’, fronted and named after Nee Julie Budet, and produced by GrandMarnier (Jean-Francois Perrier) and Ter (Tanguy Destable).

Yelle have recently finished a global ‘safari Disco Club’ world tour, pleasing crowds with their “Sunny french electro pop, with clean lines and ice cream hooks” to quote the New York times.

We just think you can’t help but smile from the inside, when you hear tracks like ‘Comme  Un Enfant’ or ‘Safari Disco Club’, and they cut a stylish rug too!
